Once Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson met at their church in Hamburg they realized they could not go to the other side. Ashley, who was 17 at the time and had never been in previously had a romantic relationship, took their time. But, it was romance at first sight. Andrew prayed on New Year's Eve just ahead of the beginning of the new year in 2016, praying that God would give him the last blessing of this year. It was also hoped that Ashley would be his bride. Ashley was determined to create the perfect wedding that had a rustic wooden theme that could truly reflect her as well as Andrew. The couple incorporated a bit of everything they love for the big day. Ashley's parents owned 40 acres in the backyard. Ashley knew the entire area exploring it, and playing in the area. On top of that Andrew and Ashley were walking around across the field several times since they first began dating. It was important to personalize the event since the couple did almost all of the work themselves. Andrew and Ashley's Dad made the seating area and an arch to be used during the wedding ceremony. Ashley painted many of these decorations. Ashley states that she would have been disappointed if Anna, the florist at Magnolia Belle Floral hadn't created her stunning floral designs to us, our wedding might not have had the magical feeling I hoped it could. The work is simply stunning.
